Description

When you enter Yosemite National Park from the west entrance, the road runs between cliffs on either side. This pine is located on top of the cliff on the right side of the road as you head into the valley. I photographed this tree on top of the cliff, accessing it from Wawona Road above the Tunnel. I was there just as the sun was beginning to set and this pine tree just lit up as if it were ablaze from the sun setting. This is one of the first images I captured on my first trip to Yosemite with my family.
